Channel Nine Perth - News Reporter
Adrian emigrated to WA with his Perth born wife Corrina, and their 4 year old daughter Caitlin, in October 2003.
He has more than 20 years experience TV News and Current Affairs. He started out as a reporter in his local newspaper in his home town of Bangor, Northern Ireland.
Later he was hired by BBC Belfast and was soon reporting on many of the atrocities which were the hallmark of the Northern Ireland Troubles.
Adrian left the BBC to join RTE in Dublin. He was a presenter on the Six and Nine O’Clock News programmes and covered European Affairs from Strasbourg and Berlin.
After completing RTE’s Producer-Director he directed Current Affairs programmes and worked as a network news producer.
Adrian moved to the UK and worked as a reporter for ITN Network News and ITV regional outlets. Some of the story highlights from that period include tracking down MI5 renegade David Shayler in Paris, and reporting from the Turkish earthquake disaster.
Adrian’s documentary on a 15 year old murder helped to change the 800 year old law of Double Jeopardy in the UK – and won the Royal Television Society’s award for Best Factual Programme.
