Nine News Reporter

In February 2003 Cecile joined Channel Nine Perth and whilst initially she covered the courts for Nine's nightly news bulletin, switched to health reports late last year when the station launched its twice weekly Healthwatch segment.

The Healthwatch report appears every Tuesday and Thursday during the 6pm bulletin.

Cecile began her journalism career just over ten years ago, working as a cadet journalist for the Warren Blackwood Times in Manjimup and the South West Times in Bunbury.

About eighteen months later Cecile moved into television, working for the Golden West Network and based in their Broome news room. In the two and a half years she was based in the Kimberley, Cecile covered news stories from around the region.

Returning to Perth in 1999, Cecile worked for Channel Ten. She initially did general reporting and also covered the court round. 

When Cecile is not reporting for Channel Nine News she likes to walk her dog Sarah, read, go swimming and although not a 'green thumb' she loves to dabble in the garden.
